12 March (HS): There is enthusiasm among the workers engaged in preparations
for the Holi and Basantotsav being organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party
(BJP). Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani said on Thursday that a huge Holi Milan
and Basantotsav is being organized on March 18 at the Parade Ground under the
joint aegis of BJP Mahanagar, trans-Ganga, and trans-Yamuna. Preparations for
this are underway in full swing. BJP Mahanagar President Sanjay Gupta reached
the Parade Ground and took stock of the preparations today.
The media
in-charge said that for the preparations, all the workers and officials of the
booth sector board and the district are distributing invitation letters in
their respective areas and inviting people to attend the program. To make the
event a success, a target has been set for 15,000 people to attend the event
jointly from the metropolis, trans-Ganga, and trans-Yamuna districts. For the
event, hoardings are being put up from the venue to the main intersections of
the metropolis and rural areas of the district.
Finally,
he announced that Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will
attend the event as the chief guest. He will interact with the workers, share
their emotions, and share a meal with them. Cultural programs will be presented
by renowned artists on this occasion.
