(HS): High alert has been imposed in Uttar Pradesh after the death of Iran's
supreme leader Khamenei in the Israeli attack. All districts have been
instructed to be extra vigilant in view of the attack on Iran and Gulf countries
and the war situation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked to take special
precautions in the meeting on Sunday morning. After this, all the districts
have been alerted again. The police is also keeping a close watch on the
demonstrations taking place in many districts including Lucknow. ADG Law and
Order Amitabh Yash said that additional police force is being deployed in Shia
dominated areas and religious places. Instructions have been given to deal
strictly with those who try to spoil the atmosphere and carry out violent
demonstrations by anti-social elements during festivals.
Protests over the
execution of Iran's Supreme Leader were conducted in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
People flocked to the streets, chanting anti-Israeli and anti-American
chants. A protestor stated, They
(the US) kept deceiving us with talks and threatening war, but our leader did
not become afraid or bow. A thousand Khameneis will emerge, and the fight will
continue. Trump will not triumph easy.”
