Lucknow, 01 March

(HS): High alert has been imposed in Uttar Pradesh after the death of Iran's

supreme leader Khamenei in the Israeli attack. All districts have been

instructed to be extra vigilant in view of the attack on Iran and Gulf countries

and the war situation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked to take special

precautions in the meeting on Sunday morning. After this, all the districts

have been alerted again. The police is also keeping a close watch on the

demonstrations taking place in many districts including Lucknow. ADG Law and

Order Amitabh Yash said that additional police force is being deployed in Shia

dominated areas and religious places. Instructions have been given to deal

strictly with those who try to spoil the atmosphere and carry out violent

demonstrations by anti-social elements during festivals.

Protests over the

execution of Iran's Supreme Leader were conducted in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

People flocked to the streets, chanting anti-Israeli and anti-American

chants. A protestor stated, They

(the US) kept deceiving us with talks and threatening war, but our leader did

not become afraid or bow. A thousand Khameneis will emerge, and the fight will

continue. Trump will not triumph easy.”
