Guwahati, 01 March (HS): Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday announced that the second day of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Jana Ashirwad Yatra’ will commence shortly, carrying forward the party’s outreach campaign across key constituencies of central Assam.

Stating on Social media that the yatra is not merely a political exercise, the Chief Minister said it represents a firm resolve towards development, unity and progress of the state. He added that the programme is being conducted with the love, trust and blessings of the people of Assam.

During the day, the yatra will pass through Jagiroad, Morigaon, Raha, Nagaon and Barhampur, where the Chief Minister will interact with local residents and seek their blessings, suggestions and support. He said the feedback and encouragement from the public serve as inspiration for the government to move forward with greater commitment.

Sarma further said the yatra aims to advance the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and strengthen efforts towards building a more prosperous and empowered Assam. He urged people to join the programme as it passes through their respective areas.----------
