(HS): For the first time in the history of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC),

all the subject committees would be headed by women. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor

of NMC already are women.

Led by Bharatiya

Janata Party all the reigns were handed over to women during a special meeting

held on Tuesday. Mayor Neeta Thakre chaired the meeting. Deputy Mayor Leela Hathibed,

an elected member from the very backward class was present.
