Kamrup (Assam), 25 January (HS): Police seized gutka worth approximately ₹20 lakh during a raid carried out in Amingaon under Kamrup (Rural) district near Guwahati.

According to police sources, the operation was conducted at a house located in the Shrinath Patti area of Amingaon. During the search, a large quantity of gutka, allegedly stored illegally, was recovered and confiscated.

An FIR has been registered in connection with the seizure and a detailed investigation is underway. Police officials stated that further details are being withheld at this stage due to the ongoing probe.-------
