Lakhimpur, 25 February (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma will inaugurate the Lovlina Borgohain Sports Complex in Lakhimpur today.

Constructed at a cost of ₹140 crore, the stadium has been built using world-class technology and is equipped with modern infrastructure and advanced sports facilities. The project is expected to provide a major boost to sports development in the region.

Olympic medalist Lovlina Borgohain will be present at the inaugural ceremony. The stadium has been developed through the efforts of local MLA Manab Deka and is considered a significant addition to Assam’s sporting infrastructure.-----------
