New Delhi, 20 February (H.S.): BJP Member of Parliament Praveen Khandelwal on Friday vehemently condemned the Indian Youth Congress's protest and objectionable conduct during the India AI Impact Summit, branding the Congress as a failed political party.

Khandelwal asserted that while the nation was engaged in serious deliberations on artificial intelligence, innovation, and India's technological future, such a vulgar and attention-seeking naked demonstration amounted to a direct affront to the dignity of a prestigious national platform. He remarked that the Youth Congress activists' behavior exposes the bankrupt mentality that has become synonymous with the Congress today.

The Chandni Chowk MP emphasized that instead of presenting ideas, policy alternatives, and meaningful debate, the Congress is indulging solely in theatrics, provocation, and politics of disorder. This conduct not only reflects political desperation but also serves as irrefutable evidence of the party's complete disconnect from the aspirations of India's youth.

Khandelwal noted that despite repeated electoral defeats, the Congress has failed to introspect. Under Rahul Gandhi's failed and ineffective leadership, it has abandoned the role of constructive opposition in favor of a politics of protests and sensationalism.India's youth seeks opportunities, innovation, and global leadership—not indecorous displays and manufactured controversies.

The AI Summit was a platform to showcase India's technological prowess and global vision; attempting to disrupt it constitutes an insult to national progress. He stressed that democracy requires a strong and responsible opposition, but what transpired was not protest but a display of desperation. The people of the country, especially the youth, expect maturity and foresight from leadership—not a politics of clamor and chaos.

Notably, during the India AI Impact Summit underway at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, Youth Congress activists staged their protest by removing their shirts. The demonstration has drawn widespread condemnation from all quarters.
