New Delhi, 18 February (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in bilateral discussions on Wednesday with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit.Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal shared details of the meeting via an X post, confirming that President Vučić, who arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday to attend the summit, held talks with Prime Minister Modi.

The leaders focused on deepening cooperation in trade and investment, artificial intelligence (AI), financial technology, education, agriculture, tourism, and people-to-people ties. They also addressed regional and global issues of mutual interest.

Jaiswal noted the longstanding bilateral relations anchored in close people-to-people connections, with both sides holding extensive deliberations to further consolidate these bonds.President Vučić arrived on Tuesday for the summit, which commenced on February 16 and stands as the world's fourth major AI conclave.

Positioned as a pivotal global platform, it seeks to shape an inclusive and transformative AI future, guided by the three pillars of People, Planet, and Progress. Prior events include the 2023 Bletchley Park AI Safety Summit (UK), 2024 AI Seoul Summit (South Korea), and 2025 AI Implementation Summit (Paris, France).
