
New Delhi, 18 February (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi held bilateral talks on Wednesday with Spanish President Pedro Sánchez on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit.Both leaders underscored the need to invigorate cooperation between India and Spain.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal announced the meeting via the social media platform X, confirming President Sánchez's attendance at the summit and the extensive discussions held to deepen bilateral ties.
The conversation encompassed trade, economy, innovation, health, climate action implementation, and education. Prime Minister Modi commended President Sánchez for Spain's steadfast support in fortifying India-European Union relations.
President Pedro Sánchez arrived in India this morning to participate in the world's fourth global AI summit, where he received a warm welcome at the airport from Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary.
