New Delhi, 18 February (H.S.): The India AI Impact Expo at Bharat Mandapam has been extended by one day to Saturday, in response to exceptional public enthusiasm for the India AI Impact Summit. The expo will remain closed to the general public on Thursday, February 19, to accommodate critical dialogues among world leaders and ensure security for incoming foreign dignitaries.
Electronics and Information Technology Ministry Secretary S. Krishnan informed media personnel on Wednesday of the decision to prolong the event, citing robust participation. On the recent controversy involving Galgotias University, Krishnan clarified that authorities sought to shield the expo from negative publicity by directing the errant exhibitor—who provided misleading information—to vacate the premises immediately.
