MOSCOW, November 1 (HS/RIA Novosti) - More than 100 Ukrainian drones were shot down and suppressed over the Belgorod region over the past day, regional Governor Alexander Shuvayev said on Sunday.

Thanks to the professional work of air defense crews and all involved units, 108 drones were shot down and suppressed, he wrote on Max.

The governor added that Ukrainian forces attacked the Belgorod region 85 times over the past day. The Ukrainian forces carried out six artillery shellings. In addition, they dropped explosive devices from UAVs three times.

Three people were injured as a result of Ukrainian attacks, Shuvayev said.
