MOSCOW, October 7 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Russia informed the World Health Organization (WHO) about the epidemiological situation in the Irkutsk Region, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.

The World Health Organization has been informed in accordance with existing practice, Peskov told reporters.

Most media reports about the situation in the Irkutsk Region provide false information, Peskov said, adding that it is necessary to focus on the data of Russian consumer rights watchdog Rospotrebnadzor.
