
Singapore, 03 October (H.S.): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will arrive here on Friday evening for a four-day visit to Singapore, one of Southeast Asia's major economic centres.
The Chief Minister left New Delhi for Singapore on Friday morning. His visit from October 3 to 6 will focus on attracting new investments to Chhattisgarh, industrial partnerships and business opportunities with global companies.
After his arrival in Singapore, Sai will hold a series of meetings with major industry groups and investors on October 4. The discussions will focus on Chhattisgarh's industrial capabilities, investment opportunities and potential projects.
The main programme of the visit, the Singapore India Network for Growth (SING) Forum 2026, will be held on October 5. At the international forum, Sai will interact directly with leading industrialists, investors and business representatives from Singapore. Investors will also have an opportunity to raise questions about investment prospects in Chhattisgarh.
According to senior state government officials, the Chief Minister will highlight the state's industrial potential, including traditional resource-based industries as well as emerging opportunities in technology, modern manufacturing and the green economy.
During the interactions in Singapore, investment opportunities in artificial intelligence and data centres, electronics, information technology, semiconductors, manufacturing and green energy will be highlighted.
Tourism and hospitality in Bastar will also be presented as potential areas for international investment. Discussions will include possibilities of linking the region's natural and cultural heritage with modern tourism facilities.
The interaction with the Chief Minister at the SING Forum will be a key part of the visit. Responding to investors' queries, Sai will highlight opportunities for setting up industries in Chhattisgarh, along with aspects related to infrastructure, energy, resources and the state's industrial policies.
