MOSCOW, October 27 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Russia is ready to work in Venezuela with both official authorities and representatives of third countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.

We are ready to work with the official authorities of Venezuela, we are ready to work with our Venezuelan partners, as well as with representatives of third countries. We are conducting appropriate consultations with the official government structures of Venezuela and with interested companies. And from other, I want to emphasize, third countries, Putin said at the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) summit in Moscow.

Russia has invested billions of dollars in Venezuela's energy sector, Putin added.
