BUENOS AIRES, October 26 (RIA Novosti) - Brazil under Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will undoubtedly remain in BRICS and maintain relations with Russia, Argentine international analyst Christian Lamesa told RIA Novosti.

He said that Brazil's foreign policy is very stable, so no surprises should be expected.

For example, regarding BRICS, Brazil's membership in which is guaranteed and beyond doubt, Brazil's presence in the group will be more in the style of India than in the style of Russia and China... Brazil will maintain a stable foreign policy towards Russia, Lamesa said.

The second round of the presidential election took place in Brazil on October 25. The incumbent head of state, Lula da Silva, won. His opponent, right-wing candidate Flavio Bolsonaro, said he does not recognize the election results and will demand their annulment.
