MOSCOW, October 21 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Russia will participate in monitoring parliamentary elections in Serbia, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday.

At the invitation of the Serbian side, Russia's official representatives will participate in monitoring the voting process. A delegation from both chambers of the Federal Assembly and the Central Election Commission. In addition, Russian observers are being sent to Serbia as part of the mission of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, the Bureau for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, which will work at polling stations across the country on election day, Zakharova told a briefing.
