MOSCOW, October 17 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Leader of the Italian right-wing National Future party, member of the European Parliament, and retired general Roberto Vannacci said that Vladimir Zelensky perceives Europe as Ukraine's ATM, demanding ever-new financial funds, and called for an end to aid to Kiev.

Zelensky has found fools who give him all the billions he asks for, and therefore he continues to ask... He took us for Ukraine's ATM, and we keep giving money, Vannacci wrote on social media.

After the 90 billion euros ($101 billion) previously allocated by Europe, the Ukrainian side is now requesting another 70 billion, he said. The politician also mentioned the needs of the Ukrainian budget for 2026 and 2027.

And do you know who will pay for all this money? We will! Because, unfortunately, we have a government that continues to say 'yes' in this sphere as well, the member of the European Parliament said.

Vannacci called for an end to financial aid to Kiev and, instead, to direct funds to support Italian farmers, workers, pensioners, and other citizens of the country to help them cope with everyday expenses.

Stop giving money to Ukraine, the politician said.

Vannacci left the League party in early February and announced the creation of a new political force, National Future. Until recently, it was gaining popularity and, according to opinion polls, enjoys the support of over 7% of voters. However, studies in recent weeks show that the growth in support for National Future has stopped, and it has lost 0.3%-0.5% of supporters.

The National Future program emphasizes the importance of restoring channels of interaction with Russia to resume energy supplies to Italy.

Russia has repeatedly stated that the continuation of Western financing and arming of Ukraine prolongs the conflict and hinders its diplomatic settlement.
