
Quetta (Balochistan), Pakistan, 11 October (H.S.):
Two Pakistani Army vehicles were destroyed in an armed attack in the Panjgur district of Balochistan, Pakistan. Armed men attacked the vehicles in the Panjchi area using automatic weapons. Several soldiers are feared dead or injured in the attack.
According to a report published by The Balochistan Post on Sunday, the attack took place on Saturday. On the same day, armed men also launched a major assault on Pakistani Army personnel in the Dasht-e-Baba area of Kalat district. Reports indicate that soldiers were killed or injured in that attack as well.
A few minutes after the assault in Kalat, armed men seized a vehicle carrying rations to an army camp in the Reko area of Nushki district. No organisation has so far claimed responsibility for the attacks reported on Saturday.
Meanwhile, according to a report published by the media outlet on Saturday, the bodies of 10 people were recovered from the Sarti area of Barkhan district. The deceased were identified as residents of different parts of Kohlu district.
Those identified included Painda Khan, Hasan Khan, Sher Mohammad Iqbal Khan, Mazar Khan, Deen Mohammad, Gahar Mohammad, Wazir Khan, Damar Bakhsh and Syed Khan. One of the deceased was identified as Iqbal Nawab, who was allegedly forcibly disappeared by the Pakistani Army on December 26, 2025, from outside the Sessions Court in Barkhan district.
Meanwhile, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has claimed that 10 terrorists were killed in an encounter in the Barkhan area.
