Kathmandu, 10 October (H.S.): Nepal has dismissed Banshi Raj Dahal, an Additional Inspector General (AIG) of the Armed Police Force (APF), over allegations of leaking sensitive security information and violating the force’s code of conduct.

Nepal’s Home Ministry spokesperson, Anand Kafle, confirmed the dismissal, stating that departmental action had been taken against Dahal. According to a statement issued by the ministry, the dismissal came into effect late Friday night.

Earlier, on October 5, the government had suspended Dahal from his post over allegations that he had leaked sensitive information.
