arrest Rameez, the police raided Khatima in Uttarakhand, Bareilly and other
places, but were unsuccessful. His mobile phone is continuously switched off,
due to which the police is unable to find his exact location. The police is
also monitoring the mobile phones of Rameez's close associates.
Chowk

after the non-bailable warrant is issued, confiscation proceedings will be
initiated against him. Police sources indicate that in her statement before the

Case
at a glance: A few days ago, a female resident doctor at KGMU accused Dr.
Rameez Malik of sexual harassment and pressure to convert her religion. The
victim stated that they were friends. In August, Rameez arrived at her rented
room and sexually harassed her under the pretext of marriage. The victim
alleges that in September, she discovered she was pregnant. When she confronted
Rameez about this, he gave her medication and forced her to abort the child.
The
victim later learned that Rameez was married. He had converted a Hindu girl to
Islam and married her. When the victim confronted him about this, he
blackmailed her, pressuring her to convert as well. Distressed, the victim
attempted suicide by overdosing on medication on the morning of December 17.
