Nagpur, 02 Jan (HS): Belora Airport in Amravati will
be ready for night landing from April 2026. The necessary work should be
completed by March 31.
The work on installing Doppler Very High Frequency
Omnidirectional Range (DVOR) is in the final stages. The construction work is
completed and a team of the Director General of Civil Aviation completed the
survey of the preparations. A team of engineers and technologists will visit
the airport soon. In about one and half months entire facility is expected to
be ready for operations.
On getting the clearance certificate from the DGCA,
the night landing facility at Belora Airport is expected to begin from April
this year.
