Lucknow,
18 Jan (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attends Health Tech
Conclave 1.0 and claims that his state has the largest consumer market in this
industry. “Uttar Pradesh, with its 25 crore people, also faces the burden of
providing health care to bordering states and numerous other nations. Inspired
by the Prime Minister and under his direction, the Uttar Pradesh
administration, in partnership with the GoI, has been successful in bringing
about fundamental improvements in the health sector during the last 8-9 years.
Prior to 2017, Uttar Pradesh had 40 medical colleges, a mix of government and
private, and there are now 81 medical institutions in the state, including two
AIIMS. People now have easier access to health care because to the significant
improvements that has occurred in this sector during the last 11 years.”
