government of India's PRAGATI platform, “'PRAGATI' is a fresh example of our
new India's work culture, which entails proactive governance and prompts execution.
In 2014, the Prime Minister lay the groundwork for digital governance and
collaborative federalism. 'PRAGATI' shown that when intent, technology, and
responsibility are combined, outcomes are automatically decided... 'PRAGATI'
stands for Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation. It represents
progress in our mega-infrastructure projects, social programs, system reforms,
and Team India strategy. It shows how'minimum government and maximum
governance' may be our guiding concept... This is both a review and a
governance reform.
“PRAGATI'
brought about a fundamental shift in the direction of field findings, moving
away from a field-based governance culture. On a nationwide scale, around 86
lakh crore projects have been implemented under 'PRAGATI'. More than 86 lakh

legitimacy of government. 'PRAGATI has pioneered innovative approaches to
economic, social, environmental, and good governance. In major states like
Uttar Pradesh, it has proven to be a game changer. Uttar Pradesh has also
emerged as India's infrastructural growth engine. Not just the state, but also
the national development infrastructure, has become the backbone. We are
forwarding it through the progress portal,” he added.

Previously, as Chief Minister of Gujarat, he initiated this initiative at the state
level. In continuation of this initiative, the PRAGATI Portal was launched in
2015. It not only reviews major projects within the country but has also become
an example of a new work culture within the country. It is monitored by the
Prime Minister's Office. Through this portal, coordination between the central
and state governments is being developed to advance government schemes.
Similarly,
coordination between different state governments and departments within
governments is also being established to advance government schemes. Chief

by the use of cutting-edge technology under the visionary leadership of Prime
Minister Modi. In 2003, as Chief Minister of Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra
Modi developed PRAGATI to address citizen grievances and create accountability.
PRAGATI is its national version. This portal, which stands for Proactive
Governance and Timely Implementation, means that this portal has become an
important foundation for Minimum Government, Maximum Governance.
Decisions have been expedited through it, preventing time delay and incurring cost.
Coordination between central and state ministries and departments has
strengthened, and accountability has been established.

reflects the government's work. In a state like Uttar Pradesh, PRAGATI has
proven to be a game-changer. Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the nation's growth
