
New Delhi, 10 January (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary Nitin Navin conducted a milk abhishek ritual for Lord Ashutosh Shankar at the ancient Shiv Mandir in Connaught Place on Saturday, followed by prayers at the historic Hanuman Temple.
Navin arrived at both the Shiv Temple and the ancient Hanuman Temple to offer worship, praying for the happiness and prosperity of all citizens across the nation.
Joining him were Delhi BJP president Veerendra Sachdeva, Water Minister Pravash Verma, MP Bansuri Swaraj, BJP national office-bearer bearer Mahendra Pandey, New Delhi district president Ravindra Chaudhary, media relations chief Vikram Mittal, and other party leaders.
BJP workers also participated in jalabhishek ceremonies during the event.
Delhi BJP chief Sachdeva announced that the Somnath Abhiman Parv is being observed at every local temple in Delhi today, with approximately one lakh party workers conducting Lord Shiva worship across the city.
