02 Sept (HS): The police of the Thana Tronica City Police of Ghaziabad district

in Uttar Pradesh arrested three miscreants during an encounter on Monday late

night. Two of these miscreants were injured by police bullets. Two pistols,

cartridges, a looted scooty and Rs 2800 were recovered from the accused.

SN Tiwari said on Tuesday that last night, the police of Thana Tronica City was

checking vehicles near Gate No. 2. During this, the police signaled three

suspicious persons riding a scooty from Loni Pushta to stop, but they started

running. On being chased, the miscreants started firing at the police team. The

police retaliated in self-defense, in which two miscreants were injured. The

police arrested both of them and their third companion.

The

DCP said that the injured miscreants have been identified as Harsh, a resident

of Khekra in Baghpat, Somveer, a resident of Akuri village in Kasganj, while

the third miscreant is Anuj, a resident of Badaun. Further action is being

taken against the accused.
