Nagpur, 02 Sep (HS): A

Nagpur-Kolkata IndiGo flight 6E-812 made an emergency landing immediately after take-off on Tuesday morning. Probably a bird hit the aircraft, causing

damage to the front portion. As a precautionary measure, the pilot decided to

return, as the safety of the passengers and the crew is more important.

IndiGo announced a full

refund on cancellation.

The Directorate General

of Civil Aviation and IndiGo’s technical team are conducting the inspection of

the affected aircraft.
