Amravati, 02 Sep (HS): The water discharge from the
Upper Wardha Dam has been increased as the storage has reached 95.79 percent of
its capacity. On Tuesday morning, the water level in the Upper Wardha lake was
measured at 342.25 meter.
The discharge has been increased from 507.97 Cubic
meters per second to 1151.51 CuMSec, by opening 13 gates up to 55 cm. The water
is being discharged in the Wardha River and the villages on the river’s banks
have been alerted by the Flood Control Centre
