New Delhi, September 2(HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate ‘Semicon India 2025’ today at 10 AM at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, marking a pivotal step in fortifying India’s semiconductor industry. The three-day conference, running from September 2 to 4, is designed to accelerate the nation’s vision of becoming a global semiconductor powerhouse.
With over 20,750 attendees including 2,500 delegates from more than 48 countries, the event will feature sessions addressing key industry themes such as semiconductor fabrication units, advanced packaging, infrastructure readiness, smart manufacturing, AI innovations, R&D, investment opportunities, and state policy implementation. The conference will also spotlight the Design Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme, a growing startup ecosystem, international collaborations, and the future roadmap for India’s semiconductor sector.
On September 3, the Prime Minister will participate in the CEOs roundtable, engaging with global and national industry leaders. The event includes six country roundtables, multiple country pavilions, and dedicated pavilions for workforce development and startups, reinforcing India’s commitment to nurturing talent and innovation in semiconductor design, manufacturing, and technology.
This edition follows the previous successful Semicon India conferences held in Bengaluru (2022), Gandhinagar (2023), and Greater Noida (2024), continuing India’s resolute journey towards a robust, resilient, and self-reliant semiconductor ecosystem.
