Bhubaneswar, 2 September (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Tuesday described the launch of India’s first indigenously manufactured semiconductor chips as a “landmark moment” in the nation’s journey towards self-reliance.
In a social media post, Majhi said the achievement was not only a technological breakthrough but also a decisive step toward strategic and economic independence. “By reducing dependency on imports and strengthening domestic manufacturing, this breakthrough positions India as a rising global hub in electronics,” he noted.
The Chief Minister further said the milestone stands as a testament to India’s vision, resilience, and unwavering commitment to ‘Make in India’ and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. “A long-cherished national aspiration has now been fulfilled. It is a moment of profound pride for every Indian. Jai Hind!” Majhi added.
