Bhubaneswar, 1 September (H.S.) The newly appointed members of the Shree Jagannath Temple Management Committee on Monday met Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan and expressed gratitude for reconstituting the panel.
During the interaction, the members discussed the smooth conduct of temple rituals, disciplined observance of festivals, and the accelerated development of Puri town. The Chief Minister assured full government support for the service of Mahaprabhu and the overall development of the temple.
Majhi said that initiatives have already begun to transform Puri into the nation’s premier religious and tourism destination, with enhanced facilities for devotees and visitors.
Those who called on the CM included committee members Krushna Chandra Samantaray (Suar Mahasabha), Raghuveer Das (Mahant), Ramnarayan Gochhikar (Pratihari Niyog), Madhusudan Singhari (Pushpalak Niyog), and Jagannath Pujapanda.
