Kachar (Assam), 03 August (HS): Assam Police have once again arrested three Bangladeshi nationals for illegally entering Indian territory. The trio was detained on Saturday night in Sribhumi district for crossing the border without valid documents.

Kachar (Assam), 03 August (HS): Assam Police have once again arrested three Bangladeshi nationals for illegally entering Indian territory. The trio was detained on Saturday night in Sribhumi district for crossing the border without valid documents.

According to police sources, all three infiltrators were deported back to Bangladesh on Sunday. Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma shared this update on his official Facebook account along with photographs of the arrested individuals.

Reiterating his firm stance, the Chief Minister said, “No infiltrator will be welcomed on the land of Assam or India.” He emphasized that the government remains vigilant on such matters and has made its position clear in the past as well.

The Chief Minister also appreciated the Assam Police for taking prompt and strict action against the infiltrators.-------
