Srinagar, 3 August (H.S.): Senior National Conference leader and Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, today reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to grassroots engagement and responsive governance during a public outreach programme at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.
Wani interacted with several public and individual delegations who raised issues related to infrastructure, employment, and public services.
He assured them that their concerns would be promptly taken up with the relevant departments.
Later, he was joined by Minister Satish Sharma to further strengthen the public interaction.
Wani said that cabinet ministers and party leaders are working under clear directions from the Chief Minister to actively engage with the people and ensure on-ground solutions.
He also mentioned that regular feedback is being gathered from party functionaries to improve the Government’s connection with the public.
Senior party leaders including Showkat Mir, Salman Ali Sagar, Shameema Firdous, Nazir Ahmad Khan Gurezi, Syed Tawqeer, Peer Afaq Ahmad, Imran Nabi Dar, Sabiya Qadri, Ifra Jan, Mir Mushtaq, and Sardar JS Azad were also present during the programme.
