New Delhi, August 3 (HS): The NEET PG eligibility exam for medical postgraduate courses began on Sunday at 9 AM, lasting until 12:30 PM. Conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the exam allows successful candidates to gain admission to MD, MS, and PG diploma courses in both government and private medical institutions across India.
Candidates had until 8:30 AM to access their exam centers, which enforced strict security measures including CCTV monitoring and mandatory biometric attendance. Approximately 2.5 lakh candidates participated in this computer-based test (CBT).
Following the result announcement, counseling for NEET PG 2025 will commence. To sit for the exam, candidates must present a valid admit card, available for download from the official website natboard.edu.in, alongside a government-issued ID. The question paper consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
NEET PG is the sole entrance examination for medical postgraduate courses in the country, making it crucial for aspiring medical professionals.
