Bhubaneswar, 2 August (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan paid a heartfelt tribute to Pingali Venkayya, the designer of India’s national flag and a revered freedom fighter, on his birth anniversary.
In a message shared on social media, the Minister stated that the 'Tiranga', conceptualized by Venkayya, is not just a flag but a powerful expression of the Indian spirit that united millions during the freedom struggle.
“The national flag 'Tiranga' is a living symbol of our national consciousness, sacrifice, and pride, which continues to bind the entire nation in the thread of unity,” Pradhan said.
He further added that Venkayya’s patriotism will always serve as an inspiration for future generations.
