Odisha Government Extends e-PAR Deadlines for Group A and B Employees for 2024–25

Bhubaneswar, 2 August (H.S.):The Odisha government has announced an extension in the timeline for submission and review of electronic Performance Appraisal Reports (e-PARs) for Group A and B employees for the 2024–25 assessment year. In a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, all administrative departments have been informed of the revised deadlines for completing the appraisal process through the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) portal.

While the deadline for self-appraisal submission by employees remains unchanged at May 31, 2025, the evaluation deadline by the Reporting Authority has been extended from July 31 to August 31, 2025. Similarly, the review by the Reviewing Authority has been pushed from September 30 to October 31, 2025. However, the final remarks by the Accepting Authority must still be completed by December 31, 2025.

The department emphasized that these changes are being introduced as a one-time relaxation due to unavoidable circumstances and warned all concerned officials against waiting until the last minute, citing potential server congestion and technical issues. Despite the extended intermediate deadlines, the government clarified that no appraisals or remarks will be accepted beyond December 31, 2025, as per clause 11(e) of the official Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) guidelines (Memo No. 1199/PRO dated April 26, 2006).

All Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and Heads of Departments have been directed to ensure wide dissemination of the revised schedule within their respective departments to avoid delays and ensure timely completion of the appraisal process.
