Mumbai, 02 Aug (HS): Ex-MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh

Thakur on Saturday alleged political conspiracy in her harassment during her

24-day imprisonment. She specifically named Mumbai’s former Police Commissioner, Param Bir Singh, for involvement in her physical exploitation.

Sadvi Pragya Singh was in Mumbai to sign a Rs 50,000

bail bond at the Sessions Court.

Talking to the media persons, Sadhvi Praya said that the

harassment she faced cannot be described in words. She said that she had lodged a

formal complaint against the officers concerned.

She was asked to record fake statements against UP

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, RSS Sarsanghachalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat, and BJP

leaders Ram Madhav, Indresh Kumar and others to get rid of the harassment. In

Gujarat, Narendra Modi also faced a similar pressure to record fake statements

inducting many RSS and BJP leaders, which he (Modi) declined.

Sadhvu Pragya specifically named ATS Chief late

Hemant Karkare, and police officers Sukhvinder Singh and Khanvilkar for

ignoring the rules to induct her. She said that the entire case was a political

conspiracy.
