Hooghy, 2 August (H.S.) The Our area, our solution (Amar Pada, Amar Samadhan) campaign initiated by the Government of West Bengal has started in 18 blocks and 13 municipal areas of Hooghly district from Saturday. In a press release issued by the district administration, it was told that under this campaign, 1508 camps will be organized in the district, in which the priorities of the people will be learnt by direct interaction and necessary schemes will be decided.
A list of necessary schemes will be prepared at the regional level from August 2 to November 3, 2025 (excluding Sundays and public holidays). Administrative review and finalization of the selected schemes will be done by November 15, 2025. The implementation and benefit distribution of the selected schemes will be done by January 15, 2026.
Through these camps, services like community toilets, cultural or social infrastructure, drainage, electrical works, waste management, green infrastructure, upgradation of ICDS centres, markets and vending zones, primary schools, ponds and water bodies, public spaces, public transport, roads, street lighting, and water supply will be provided.
Through these camps, applications will also be taken for various personal benefit schemes run by the government, which come under the Duare Sarkar scheme.
