Gurugram, August 17(HS): Panic gripped Gurgaon’s upscale Sector-57 early Sunday morning after unidentified armed assailants opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav. The incident occurred between 5 and 6 am, when three men on a motorcycle reportedly fired 10 to 12 rounds at the property before fleeing the scene.

According to police sources, the gunmen targeted both the ground and first floor of Yadav’s residence, though no casualties or injuries were reported. Importantly, Elvish Yadav was not at home at the time of the attack.

Immediately after gunshots were reported, teams from Sector-56 Police Station rushed to the spot. Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar confirmed that multiple investigation teams have been deployed and CCTV footage from the surrounding area is being scanned to identify the attackers.

The incident has triggered alarm in the locality, with residents shaken by the brazen morning assault. Initial probes suggest possible links to a previous case involving Haryanvi singer Rahul Fazilpuria, a close associate of Elvish Yadav, who was also the target of a similar firing incident recently. Investigators are not ruling out the possibility of a larger gang rivalry or intimidation angle behind the shooting.

Elvish Yadav, who rose to national fame after winning Bigg Boss OTT and later established himself as a popular YouTube personality and social media influencer, has not publicly commented on the incident yet.

The Gurgaon Police have stepped up security around Yadav’s residence and assured that the matter is being probed at the highest level. A manhunt is on to trace the bike-borne shooters.
