Firozabad, 17 Aug (HS): An incident that shames humanity has come

to light in the government trauma centre on Sunday. The body of a newborn girl

was found in the bathroom here. On getting information about the incident, the

hospital staff united. The police have kept the body in the post-mortem house. A

female attendant went to the bathroom of the Government Trauma Center on

Sunday. She was shocked to see the body of a newborn girl in the bathroom. A

crowd of people gathered when she made noise. The woman immediately informed

the hospital administration. On receiving the information, the cleaning staff

of the hospital reached the spot. They took out the body of the newborn girl.

The people present there were seen cursing the mother who left newborn girl in

the hospital bathroom and went away. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the

hospital administration informed the police. The police reached the spot and

sent the body for post-mortem. The police and the hospital administration are

investigating the incident with the help of CCTV footage. The officials are

trying to find out how and from where the body of the newborn reached the

bathroom.

In this regard, police station in-charge

North Sanjul Pandey says that on the basis of the complaint, the body has been

sent for post-mortem. Also, CCTV cameras installed in the hospital premises are

being scanned so that it can be ascertained how the body of the newborn girl

reached here.
