17 Aug (HS): A case has been registered on Saturday night at Colonelganj

police station in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh against the person who

made indecent remarks about Chail MLA Puja Pal. This case was registered on the

complaint of advocate Shyam Chandra Pal. Police say that investigation has been

started against the person who made indecent remarks on social media.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Nagar Abhijeet Kumar told on Sunday

that on the complaint of advocate Shyam Chandra Pal, resident of Sadarpur of

Sarai Mamarez police station area, a case has been registered under sections

79, 356 (2), 353 (2) and 66 IT Act against Umesh Yadav who made indecent

remarks on Chail MLA Puja Pal at Colonelganj police station. Investigation has

been started in the case. Legal action will be taken on the basis of merits and

demerits.

It is noteworthy that according to the complaint lodged in

Colonelganj police station, advocate Shyam Chandra Pal has alleged that the

comment made by Umesh Yadav on social media platform has hurt the entire

society including the women of the shepherd community. In such a situation,

legal action should be taken against them.
