17 Aug (HS): With the aim of making the district a hub of tourism, Tourism and
Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh laid the foundation stone of two major projects
on Sunday. The total cost of these projects is Rs 6.45 crore. On this occasion,
Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh said that the first project is the
beautification of Shri Omkareshwar Mahadev Temple in Sirsaganj, for which a
budget of Rs 4 crore 38 lakh has been allocated, while the second project is
related to the Jadudwara site in village Umri, on which Rs 2.07 crore will be
spent. These two projects will not only lead to religious development of this
area but will also provide employment to the local people here. He said that
our aim is to preserve the old heritage in the district, so that the coming
generations can become familiar with these heritages. The Tourism Minister said
that in this financial year, a total of 31 projects have been approved by the
Tourism and Culture Department for the district, I hope that these projects
will bring new energy to the people of Sirsaganj and surrounding areas and
people will benefit from it. During this time, BJP District President Uday
Pratap Singh, Chairman Ranjana Gurudutt Singh, former Chairman Ram Prakash
Agarwal, Raghvendra Singh etc. were present.
