Nagon (Assam), 16 August (HS): A case of physical assault on a car driver in Kakati Village along the Raha-Kamrup connecting road has sparked strong reactions. Notably, after similar incidents in Guwahati, a group in Kakati Village of Kamrup has been claiming to be members of the Gaon Raksha Bahini.

According to reports, the driver, Pallab Das, was attacked by the group of youths led by one Rashidul and his associates. The incident occurred near Iphale, where their unruly behavior reportedly insulted and harassed a passenger, Rudramaan, seated inside the car. ------------
