Jaunpur, 15 Aug
(HS): On the occasion of 79th Independence Day on Friday, Dr Kaustubh,
Superintendent of Police hoisted the flag at the Quarter Guard located in
Police Line and while saluting the national flag, the golden moment of
independence was remembered with the tune of the national anthem. In the same
sequence, Minister of State for Sports and Youth Welfare Girish Chandra Yadav
hoisted the flag and saluted the flag in the Police Line. Thereafter the
National Anthem was sung. On this occasion, Minister of State Girish Chandra
Yadav and Superintendent of Police Dr Kaustubh honored various police station
incharges, constables etc. who did excellent work in the district by giving
them certificates.
On this occasion,
the Minister of State said that today on this occasion we remember our brave
soldiers and pay our tribute to them. Those who fought the freedom struggle
under the leadership of Gandhiji and liberated the country, due to whose
tireless sacrifice we are breathing freely today. Certainly today we are
feeling proud. You all know that India is moving towards becoming a developed nation.
India has got a new identity on the global forums. India has emerged as a
powerful country in the world. Certainly, if we talk about today, India got the
opportunity to lead the G20 nations. It is a matter of great pride for us. The
government has brought a change in the life of the poor by taking advantage of
the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, toilets are being
built in the houses of every poor person. For this, our government has worked
to bring all the welfare schemes to the people. Under the Ayushman Bharat Card
Scheme, a provision of Rs 5 lakh for treatment has been made for the poor. Our
government has tried to bring up the people living below the poverty line.
Certainly, we appreciate the work of the brave soldiers and police personnel of
the country. Today from the Red Fort, the Prime Minister of India has launched
a new scheme, the Pradhan Mantri Vikasit Bharat Yojana. The Prime Minister had
set a target of making 3 crore women Lakhpati Didi in the entire country. This
target has been achieved so far and soon we will cross this figure. Our country
is moving towards becoming a developed India.
