(HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Friday that BrahMos

missiles and drones deployed in Operation Sindoor, which were manufactured in

Lucknow under the country's 'Made in India' program, demonstrate the worldwide

might of'swadeshi' technology. On the occasion of the 79th

Independence Day, the Chief Minister addressed residents and unfurled the

national flag at Lucknow's UP Vidhan Sabha.

Adityanath praised the success of Operation Sindoor in his address to a crowd

outside the UP Legislative Assembly. Yogi Adityanath stated that under Prime

Minister Narendra Modi ji's leadership, the country has recently seen the

effective execution of Bharat's'saamarth' (strength) and'shakti' (power) via

Operation Sindoor.

Indian military

forces initiated Operation Sindoor 100 days ago to eliminate numerous terror

infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) in response to

the April 22 Pahalgam incident. On this

day, I salute all those courageous jawans who, despite tough conditions, routed

the enemy and ensured India's unity and integrity, he said.

Adityanath praised the armed services, saying, When our soldiers are

alert at borders and give their all, we can sleep peacefully and our country

can see the golden dreams on which strong India is being built today. He

emphasized the strength of the country's swadeshi model, saying that missiles

and drones employed in Operation Sindoor not only showcased India's defense

capabilities, but also the potential of swadeshi technology on a worldwide

scale.

BrahMos missiles

and Made in India drones built in Lucknow have proven India's worldwide

capabilities, he said. Adityanath also paid respect to Mahatma Gandhi and

raised the national flag at his Lucknow official house. India's independence

was the product of Mahatma Gandhi's unrelenting sacrifices and battles, as well

as the efforts of innumerable revolutionaries who unified the country from

north to south and east to west in the fight for freedom. Independence Day is more than just a

celebration; it is also an opportunity to raise national awareness and

reinvigorate our dedication to duty, according to the CM.

He stated that India is swiftly progressing toward the objective of Viksit

Bharat under PM Modi's leadership. The Constitution, now in its Amrit Kaal, has

played an important role in promoting social justice, fraternity, and equality,

tying the nation together throughout both good and bad times.

He also emphasized

Uttar Pradesh's efforts to boost local industry through the 'One District, One

Product' (ODOP) initiative, which uses branding, modern design, technology, and

packaging to connect local products with markets not only in India but around

the world, giving new impetus to the PM's 'Vocal for Local' campaign. The CM

recommended that embracing Swadeshi as a way of life become a national

resolution on Independence Day.

This day is a time to offer appreciation to martyrs and be inspired to establish

a self-sufficient India, Adityanath said, adding that every Uttar Pradesh

citizen must remain devoted to their duty and strive toward fulfilling the

ideal of a developed nation. The UP

chief minister stated that the sacrifices of numerous revolutionaries,

liberation fighters, and courageous troops liberated the country from centuries

of servitude.

He paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, Babasaheb

Bhimrao Ambedkar, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and other recognized and unknown

martyrs. Reiterating Modi's commitment to Viksit Bharat by the centennial of

India's independence in 2047, he stated, If every citizen fulfills their

duties, this goal will be achieved sooner, and India will emerge as the world's

greatest power by 2047. Referring to India's success during the last

decade, Adityanath stated, In 2014, India was the world's 11th largest

economy, and it is now the 4th largest economy.

He also offered a thorough assessment of Uttar Pradesh's achievements during

the last eight years. Adityanath said, Before 2017, the state was plagued

by lawlessness, riots, and insecurity. Women, traders, and ordinary

inhabitants were not safe. However, during the past eight years, UP has

implemented a new security paradigm.

The state is now

free of riots and stands as a beacon of excellent government. Economically,

Uttar Pradesh's GSDP rose from Rs 13 lakh crore to Rs 32 lakh crore, while per

capita income climbed from Rs 43,000 to Rs 1.2 lakh. The state got investment

proposals totaling Rs 45 lakh crore, of which Rs 15 lakh crore has been

implemented on the ground, creating jobs for lakhs of young people. He noted

that during the last eight years, 8.3 lakh youngsters have obtained government

employment, while 1.62 crore have been employed in the MSME sector. The Department

of Culture organizes a cultural programming. Over 180 performers from Uttar

Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, and Gujarat performed

spectacularly to symbolize the nation's unity and cultural variety.
