-Iconic Gardens to Welcome Visitors from August 16 to September 14 with Extended Public Access
New Delhi, August 14(HS): The lush splendour of Rashtrapati Bhavan’s famed Amrit Udyan will once again open its gates to the public, as President Droupadi Murmu today formally inaugurated the Summer Annuals Edition, 2025.
The seasonal showcase, celebrated for its vibrant floral displays and manicured landscapes, will be accessible to visitors from August 16 to September 14, 2025. During this month-long window, the Udyan will remain open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry permitted at 5:15 PM. Mondays will be reserved for essential maintenance, during which the garden will remain closed to the public.
Hassle-Free Entry, Free of Cost
Entry to the Amrit Udyan will be free, but prior registration is mandatory. Slots can be booked online through the official Rashtrapati Bhavan website, while walk-in visitors can register using Self-Service Kiosks positioned outside Gate No. 35, located near North Avenue Road.
Visitor Guidelines
In line with security and conservation protocols, visitors will be allowed to carry mobile phones, electronic keys, purses, handbags, water bottles, baby milk bottles, and umbrellas within the garden premises. All other items will remain restricted.

The Amrit Udyan, formerly known as the Mughal Gardens, has long been a hallmark of Rashtrapati Bhavan’s grandeur. Its seasonal displays — from tulips in spring to vibrant summer annuals — draw thousands of visitors from across the country, blending horticultural artistry with the historical charm of India’s seat of the presidency.
