Tinsukia (Assam), 12 August (HS): A major road accident occurred in Margherita, leaving several students injured. The collision took place between a tomtom and a magic vehicle on the Margherita-Pengeri Road.

According to reports, a speeding magic (AS-23BC-8435) rammed into another vehicle (AS-23E-4471) from behind, causing the accident. The tomtom driver and multiple school students sustained injuries.

Local residents rushed the injured to Margherita FRU Hospital. The driver and other critically injured victims were later referred to the district hospital for advanced treatment.
