New Delhi, 1 August (H.S.): Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) launched the 'Welcome Freshers' Campaign on the first day of the 2025-26 undergraduate academic session at the University of Delhi, warmly welcoming new students across colleges. Activities included applying tilak, offering sweets, and gifting pens and diaries.

This initiative aims to assist students from all over the country, with help desks set up on college campuses to provide guidance on admissions, courses, hostels, and other essential information. ABVP Delhi State Secretary Sarthak Sharma emphasized the organization's commitment to ensuring that newcomers feel supported and included, aiming to create a sense of community from the start.
