He was found unconscious at his Malibu home and pronounced dead at 8:25 AM local time. Known for his collaboration with director Quentin Tarantino, Madsen delivered memorable performances in films like Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

A statement from his representatives highlighted his status as an iconic actor remembered by many. Madsen began his career in television during the early 1980s, with a notable role in 'St. Elsewhere.' He later transitioned to film, gaining recognition in Thelma & Louise. His portrayal of the sadistic Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs established him as a prominent figure in film. Madsen also starred in movies such as Wyatt Earp, Donnie Brasco, Die Another Day, and Sin City.
