Seoul, July 31(HS): FC Barcelona defender Jules Koundé confirmed he has signed a new five-year contract with the club until 2030 during a media interaction in Korea. Although not yet officially announced, Koundé stated that all contract processes are complete and an official announcement is expected soon. He expressed happiness with the negotiations, mentioning that the club's ambitions align with his own.

Koundé, who scored the decisive goal against Real Madrid in last season’s Copa del Rey final, joined Barcelona from Sevilla in 2022 and has recorded seven goals in 141 matches, demonstrating versatility as both a center-back and a right-back.
