Lucknow,

29 July (HS): The probe discovered that

202 of the 203 appointed applicants utilized fraudulent mark sheets reportedly

given by JS University, Shikohabad. The

Uttar Pradesh Special Operations Group has unearthed a large fraud involving forged

Bachelor of Physical Education (B PEd) degrees in conjunction with the Physical

Education Teacher (PTI) Direct Recruitment Examination 2022. The research

discovered that 202 of the 203 appointed applicants utilized fraudulent mark

sheets reportedly given by JS University, Shikohabad. SOG ASP Dharmaram Gila oversaw the

investigation, which revealed the fraud using data from the university's server

logs.

The

inquiry showed JS University only recognizes 100 seats every academic session,

however in the B PEd program, a remarkable 2,082 individuals filed for

government positions citing university degrees. The enormous disparity prompted more investigation.Investigation revealed numerous layers of

deception: 25 individuals claimed to

have finished their B PEd courses at different colleges but provided JS

University mark sheets for verification. 26 applicants presented degrees from sessions

that did not correspond with their reported academic years.

Nine people presented wholly false mark

sheets. 43 individuals presented degrees

from the 2020-2022 academic session, despite the fact that the test was taken

on September 25, 2022, implying post-exam forgery. Only one of the 203 examined degrees from the

academic years 2017-2019, 2018-2020, 2019-2021, and 2020-2022 was found to be

authentic.

SOG

has uncovered brokers' participation in the creation and distribution of forged

mark sheets.Degree printing data

obtained from the JS University server backup verified the alteration.

Authorities are already prepared to file a FIR against the JS University

administration and 165 of the accused applicants. An additional 37 candidates, numbered from

166 to 202, have previously been prosecuted in earlier cases for submitting

imitation candidates or using fraudulent papers.
